The Found Lover

In my lover I found things unfathomable

I solved things impossible

Created creations because 

As I said it ,it was.

I prayed, boy oh boy I prayed

So I touched power but my character...

I refused to file off any excesses

I refused to submit it

To be chiselled

Until...

I had it all 

But not relevance

I could not Judge the mount of Edom because my obedience was not complete.

The prince of this world came over and again and he found

Indeed he did found something of his in me

Yet I only wept for a second

The next like a dog to it's vomit

I went back there enjoying in fact the taste

Because he is just my lover and not my Lord.

On the morn of a bright day

My lover came, his countenance I didn't understand . 

His eyes flaming Red; his teeth white

He has not come to woo me 

Like he has always done.

He came; his helmet on his head and salvation his breastplate.

The light that shone upon his face I could not behold.

There was no strength in my body

I collapsed like a pawpaw tree.

Life went out of me.

The fear termed reverence

I've never felt anything like that before

With my heart in my mouth, I listened to see what he'd say to me.

I was a lost cause because I had blasphemed and brought shame to his name that only Glory was to be given.

I was on my way to Gehenna

Until Mercy showed up

Turning the tables of yhe the legal system.

He showed them I deserved to live. 

He became my love once again

Because his anger is for but a moment

And his love is everlasting

From then on, I have submitted myself to the potter's klin 

To the blacksmith's hammer. The refiner's fire I have refused to evade

Until this heart is taught to submit and this body brought under the his Lordship because now I know he is just not a lover

He is a Lord, King and Priest

Yet he doesn't love me any less

Because now I understand that 

He is the mercy that showed up in the law court. 

I will stay with the process
